Lesley Mallow Wendell

Lesley WendellLesley Mallow Wendell, Collaborating Consultant, is President of Rosewood Consulting Group. Lesley brings more than 20 years of experience as a leader, mentor and innovator in helping groups and individuals enhance their leadership potential.

Lesley has facilitated career and leadership development programs for groups and individuals at all organizational levels since 1978. Having coached seasoned CEO’s and rising executives, senior management teams and individual contributors alike, Lesley tailors her efforts to meet the multi-faceted needs of clients. She uses a variety of approaches, techniques and assessment tools, including the DISC profiler and Myers Briggs Type Indicator®. Each engagement is designed specifically for the individual client.

In addition to her organizational work, she teaches Strategic Leadership at Cedar Crest College, where she serves as adjunct faculty member in the Management Department. A frequently quoted leadership and career development expert in local and national business publications, she has appeared on local and national radio and TV. She also authors a quarterly mentoring newsletter for a Fortune 500 company. Prior to establishing Rosewood Consulting Group in 2001, Lesley served as Executive Director of OPTIONS, Inc., a Philadelphia-based career and human resource consulting organization.

Lesley held previous positions in advertising and academia. She spent eleven years as Director of Career Services at Widener University, chairing the University’s Committee on Multicultural Understanding while training groups and individuals on issues related to diversity.

To honor her commitment to serving both the business and social service communities, Lesley is active in various professional associations and community organizations. She currently serves as director and vice chair of Women’s Way, was a director of the Philadelphia Chapter of the Society for Human Resource Management, and is an active member of the Forum of Executive Women. In addition, Lesley writes an online column for the Society of Women Environmental Professionals and serves as a frequent keynote speaker to professional organizations on matters of leadership development. Lesley was selected by Business Philadelphia as one of 1997’s “Women to Watch.” She earned an M.S. in Human Resource Management from Widener University and an undergraduate degree from the University of Pennsylvania.
